Bass traps None required N/A NC-35 tolerance is sufficient without corner bass traps. Omit to save cost. Low-frequency modal control not critical in this room. DEC

Common Requirements

Float Floor — All Rooms:
Sylomer SR 28 pads are installed directly on concrete slab. 2×18mm tongue-and-groove plywood on top (staggered joints). All wall framing sits ON the float floor — installed AFTER float floor is cured. 10mm perimeter gap at all walls, filled with Tremco Acoustical Sealant. No rigid bridging at any point.
Ceiling Grid — All Rooms:
Armstrong Prelude 24mm exposed T-grid. Main runners at 1200mm centres, hung on 12-gauge galvanised wire with neoprene isolation washers. Wall angle installed level at exactly 2.75m FFL. Plenum barriers (15mm Knauf Soundshield + Tremco sealant) at every partition wall, full height to slab.
Wall Paint — All Rooms:
All gypsum faces receive standard latex paint. Colour per client preference. Do not use texture paint, wallpaper, or acoustic foam tiles over gypsum face — these add unspecified absorption or mass. Panel colours on fabric-wrapped absorption panels: client choice, but fabric must be acoustically transparent (test per ISO 9053 or equivalent).
