Electrical & Data Infrastructure BOM

Power circuits, outlet positions, and data cabling for the MediaVerse Studio Complex. All specifications from ACOUSTIC-CONSTANTS.js Single Source of Truth.

BUILDER CUSTOMIZATION GUIDE — ELECTRICAL BOM

CUSTOMIZABLE — Receptacle brand and color may be substituted if the replacement meets or exceeds the specified current rating (16A) and grounding requirements. Cable brand may vary if Cat6A S/FTP rating and plenum certification are maintained. Conduit routing paths may be adjusted to avoid structural conflicts, provided separation from power is maintained (600mm for audio, 300mm for data).

DO NOT ALTER — Isolated ground circuit design (no shared neutrals), back-to-back box prohibition (600mm offset minimum), putty pad requirement on all boxes, steel box requirement for STC-rated walls, conduit seal specifications at acoustic boundaries. These values are acoustically engineered and changing any of them invalidates the wall STC ratings.

Outlet Summary

Critical Notes

Critical Installation Requirements
  • Isolated ground circuits: Each circuit runs a separate equipment ground conductor back to the panel. No shared neutrals between circuits to prevent ground loops and electrical noise in audio equipment.
  • Back-to-back prohibition: No electrical boxes may be placed back-to-back across STC-rated walls. Maintain minimum 600mm horizontal offset between boxes on opposite sides of any acoustic partition.
  • Steel boxes only: Use heavy-gauge steel electrical boxes in all STC-rated walls. Plastic boxes do not meet acoustic mass requirements.
  • Putty pad coverage: Apply acoustic putty pads to all 5 exposed sides of every electrical box before installing in wall cavity.
  • Penetration sealing: All cable penetrations through acoustic walls must be sealed with Tremco acoustic sealant. Apply sealant wet, before cable pull.
  • Floor box coordination: Floor box conduit stub-ups installed DURING float floor construction (Phase 2) using liquidtight flexible conduit between slab and floating floor — rigid conduit bridges acoustic isolation. Coordinate with float floor sequence.
  • Wall box timing: All electrical boxes mount to studs DURING wall construction (Phases 3–4) while cavities are open, BEFORE gypsum closes. Never cut into finished acoustic walls.
Data Cabling Note

Cable separation (studio standard): power-to-audio 600mm minimum, power-to-data 300mm minimum on parallel runs. All crossings at 90° perpendicular only. Analog audio cables NEVER share conduit with digital (ethernet, DMX) or AC power. Use EMT (steel) conduit for EMI shielding. All data terminations tested to 500MHz before acceptance.
